Introducing a new era in beauty, POND’S recently unveiled its latest innovation – the POND'S SKIN INSTITUTE – at a grand event held in Glass Garden. The immersive experience showcased the brand's commitment to science-backed beauty and highlighted two revolutionary new ingredients, niasorcinol and hexyl-retinol, found in the latest POND’S products.

Held at the Glass Garden in Pasig City, the launch event gathered beauty experts and enthusiasts. It opened with remarks from Anna Mangilin, Unilever Beauty & Wellbeing Southeast Asia Chief Marketing Officer and Philippines Lead, who emphasized the brand's three pillars: purpose, science, and desire.

Kat Lim, Face Care Manager, then delved into POND’S rich history, highlighting not just its status as a trusted Filipino beauty companion but also its groundbreaking findings. Notably, POND’S is the proud discoverer and originator of the first patent for niacinamide as a brightening ingredient, paving the way for countless skincare advancements and POND’S products.

The spotlight then shifted to the unveiling of the two breakthrough skincare ingredients: niasorcinol and hexyl-retinol found in products such as POND'S Bright Miracle Serum Burst Cream and POND'S Age Miracle Ultimate Youth Day Serum. Dani De-Leon, Unilever Beauty & Wellbeing R&D Lead, explained how these ingredients, inspired by Nobel Prize-winning research, address key concerns like dark spots and wrinkles by boosting the skin's natural repair process. Live demos showcased the innovative science behind each ingredient and their impressive, clinically proven results.

Guests experienced the latest products at the product trial area.

Dermatologist Dr. Lyien Ho, skincare influencer Francis Bagsic, and long-time POND'S user Toni Sia commended the new ingredients and products. Dr. Ho lauded the superior efficacy of niasorcinol compared to basic brightening actives, while Bagsic, known for his critical approach, expressed genuine excitement for the science-backed advancements. Notably, Ruzz Melendez, previously skeptical of POND’S products, proudly proclaimed his conversion after experiencing the impressive results of niasorcinol on his skin.

The event culminated in the much-anticipated reveal of the POND’S Skin Institute, an interactive space where guests can experience the science and magic behind the new POND’S products. The institute featured a history wall celebrating the brand’s pioneering spirit, a “miracle center” for product trials, a skin analysis area, a science and R&D lab, and a testimonial wall showcasing real user experiences.
